Andrew Pilcher

Andrew Pilcher is a writer and cartoonist living in Hastings, England. He's been drawing 'Smith' since 2010 and has a back catalogue of over 2000 comics. I'll be posting one comic a day on here until we've caught up with the 'live' feed on Comic Fury.

Introducing Smith and Jones - who look a bit different to how they do now. The drawing is a bit hesitant here, as I hadn't drawn these characters for since I first drew them at school. It would take 50 or so strips for me to regain my drawing mojo.

This is the only strip I've remastered in any way apart from to change the formatting from a newspaper strip to something more phone-friendly. The original drawings of Jones had some pen-rendered shading around the points, they way I had to do it when I originally drew her in 1980, before colour had been invented.
