The new LEMOON website is here!
This version has been shaped by the people who read and publish on LEMOON. You've told us about the moments that felt frustrating, the things you wished were easier, and what would help you keep sharing your stories.
We've been working on those things together. Today, we're excited to show you a website that gives stories more room to be discovered, enjoyed and supported.
Find a story you want to come back to
A story catches your eye. You read the first episode, get attached to a character, and start wondering when the next one comes out.
We want that discovery to happen more often on LEMOON, and we want it to be easy to keep following once it does.
The new website gives you more ways to explore. Look up a creator you already love, browse a genre, or find your next read through a collection. The weekly release schedule helps you keep up with the stories you're following and see what's coming next.
Reading on your phone feels closer to the app, with your Library and the pages you use most within easy reach. Dark mode makes room for late-night reading, the artwork gets more of the screen, and your place is saved for when you come back.
Make room for the conversation
When an episode ends on a cliffhanger, talking about it is part of the fun.
We've made more space for those conversations. On a computer, comments sit beside the episode and stay with you as you move to the next one. You can share a reaction with a GIF or photo, mention someone, and return directly to a reply from your notifications.
Comment translation also makes it easier for readers and creators to understand each other across languages. The website interface is available in seven languages, welcoming more of the community into the experience.
For a creator, those conversations can be a real encouragement to keep going. For a reader, they're a chance to connect with other people who care about the same story.
More control for the people making the stories
Publishing a series means fitting a lot of work around each episode. There are pages to prepare, updates to plan and older episodes you might want to revisit.
The new LEMOON Creator Dashboard gives you more room to manage that work in your own way.
You can prepare episodes ahead of time, preview how they'll look on different screens, and schedule them for release. If you decide to redraw a page or correct an older episode, you can work on the changes privately while readers keep seeing the published version.
As your series grows, you can also get a clearer view of the people reading it: where they're coming from, which episodes they're exploring, and how your audience develops over time.
And when your series reaches a milestone, you'll have a celebration to share with the community that helped you get there.
Publishing remains free and non-exclusive. Whether you're preparing your first series, bringing an existing one to LEMOON or adding translations for new readers, we want the tools to help you keep making your work.
Support the creators you keep coming back for
Many of you have asked about joining Paid Episodes. It's now free for creators to join directly from the LEMOON Creator Dashboard.
Creators aged 18 or older, with at least one series of 5 published episodes, can accept the terms and join!
You choose which series and episodes to sell, and you can stop selling at any time. At least the first 4 episodes of every series stay free, giving new readers time to get to know your story.
Readers can now buy coins and unlock episodes on the website, with their balance and unlocked episodes shared with the app. That makes it easier to support a favorite creator wherever you choose to read.
We're also working on more ways for creators to earn. We'll share more as those programs become ready!
Your stories stay yours
LEMOON started with Charlène, a webtoon creator many of you know as Neruma, who built the platform with Berdrigue and Dylan. The experience of making and sharing stories is close to the people building it.
We want creators to feel confident about what publishing here means. That's why we've made our commitments clearer in the updated policies: you keep ownership of your stories, characters and art. Publishing is non-exclusive, and LEMOON needs a separate agreement with you to sell, commercially license or adapt your work.
Our position on human creativity is clear, too: content made with generative AI is not allowed on LEMOON.
We believe art and creative expression should come from people. Supporting the people making it is at the heart of what we're building.
